Aileen Perez-Gjikova, Esq., is the Founding Member & Managing Partner of The Law Offices of Perez & Bonomo, LLC, which she founded in 2011. Her practice centers on Chapter 7 bankruptcy, where she has handled hundreds of cases in the District of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and on divorce and family law. This prestigious admission places her among an elite group of attorneys qualified to practice before the nation's highest court.
Education & Early Career
Ms. Perez-Gjikova graduated in the top 10% of her class from CUNY Law School, where she served as Articles Editor for the NYC Law Review. She earned her B.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences, cum laude, from Seton Hall University.
Professional Experience
Before founding her own practice, Ms. Perez-Gjikova served as an attorney with the NYC Law Department, where she gained invaluable experience in municipal law and government litigation. She also served as a Public Defender in Englewood Cliffs, demonstrating her commitment to ensuring equal access to justice for all individuals, regardless of their economic circumstances.
From 2002 to 2011 she was a Senior Associate at Brunnock & Fleming, P.C. in Morristown, where she founded and built the firm's Chapter 7 bankruptcy practice and managed its entire New York caseload.
